"My 2007 Road Glide decided to start acting up on I90 on the way back from Kentucky to Toronto. I eventually had to have it towed and left in the lot at Erie HD. I was at ease leaving it in the parking lot on a Holiday weekend when I saw all of the security cameras. The next morning, I was at the service dept. at 9:00 a.m. unannounced and hoping for the best. Well that was exactly what I got. "The Best". The service advisor, SM, according to my invoice, went out of his way to get me in and serviced. They didn't have a specific fuel system part and said that I may have to wait another day. But with some creative salvaging from a used bike, I was on my way by 3:00 pm. Great experience and really good folks! I will definitely be back. Even if it is just to say hello."

"To Kelly and Susan, there are motorcycles and there is Harley-Davidson, hardly a comparison in my mind. I purchased a 2011 Sportster 883 Super Low from Al Williams this past May. Al presented me with a T-shirt that pretty much sums it up: 'life begins when you get one', Yes it does. I am not new to this game having owned three other motorcycles, but my 883 takes the trophy. Small but powerful with super road manners and it hardly gets much better than that. The Sportster is an old competition bike which is what I love about its heritage, no nonsense. "I went to Erie H-D in February 2012 just to look at some bikes never expecting to buy. Well i ran into Al Williams and that changed everything. I ended up buy a 07 FatBoy. Fastforward to Jan 2013,I went to the new store just to look around and ran into Al again. Well this time i was going to buy a 2012 StreetGlide. I came back a couple days later to do the paperwork when i saw a 2012 ElectraGlice Classic. I told Al that's what i really wanted but it wasn't out on the floor when i was there 2 days prior. Al went and checked with Trish in financing and she said it will take a couple of minutes to change the paperwork. 15 minutes i was the owner of my 2012 FLHTC. "We were lined up to buy a new Harley trike at another dealership when we stopped in to check out HD of Erie. Al was such a great, helpful salesman that we started to reconsider our decision. The next day when we called the other dealership to say we'd be over the salesman had an attitude like he was doing us a favor by letting us buy a $34000 bike! Right after we got off the phone with him Al from HD of Erie called and was so polite and welcoming that we headed to Erie and bought the Harley trike from him. Since that day, everytime we've been in the shop, whether to browse accessories or shop for merchandise, the staff has been kind and helpful. "I have looked at Harley-Davidson Motorcycles at dealers in 5 states and was so impressed by the operation you have created at Harley-Davidson of Erie. The team of owners and employees cares more about what the customer wants/needs than the actual closing of the sale. I had Al as my salesperson and his knowledge and interest was what sold me to buy from Harley-Davidson of Erie. From Al who by the way was able to make the deal with out any help (nice to have owners who trust their employees) my wife and I spent time with Tricia who also cared enough to find the best interest rate and answer any questions. On the day of delivery we got to meet some of the rest of the staff and spend time with Jennifer in clothing and John in parts both explained in full every question I had and were helpful above and beyond expectations. I talked with Kelly (1/2 of the husband - wife owner team) and he was concerned that we were still there and was all OK, this was just a incredible experience and we enjoyed the time we spent there. We saw them take care of out of towners stranded by weather, talked with other happy and proud customers and had a great time while there. We spent 3 Saturdays there and I am convinced that this was the best dealer that I had been too and the best place for me to do business with. I would encourage anyone that wants a Harley-Davidson to go to Harley-Davison of Erie and see Al or anyone that works there for not only a great deal but an incredible experience. For my wife and I this was the best 80 mile drive we could have taken and would recomend others to give it a try you won't be sorry you did! As a side have Al push the one you like outside into the sun to see the color and chrome in the sun light, mother nature takes over the sale from there."
